HOLY TWISTED ROMANCE BATMAN! Dark Mind is a book where the title says it all. It is a dark story with sex, violence, blood and romance. Not from the first page but from the first paragraph this book had me in it’s grips. I couldn’t read it fast enough to see where it was going and what was going to happen next, but I didn’t want it to end. Owen did an excellent job telling the tale of a hired killer and the only woman to every hold his interest. This is a terrific book that I highly recommend with all 5 stars!
Dahlia was shot, rescued, kidnapped and held hostage. So how could she find her captor so incredibly attractive? Callen had saved her life when a man she didn’t know shot her, but then he took her home and wasn’t going to let her leave. Now Dahlia doesn’t know if she ever wants to leave even though she knows that Callen is a hired killer. Callen says he never wants her to leave, he wants to be with her forever. But once Callen finds out Dahlia’s secrets he might be the one wanting out. Dahlia can only hope that Callen won’t be the one to pull the trigger on her next time, ending what she quickly found as safety in the tattooed arms of a killer.
