Blood Prince is a different take on the vampire/demon/warrior story line and Celia Aaron did a wonderful job writing it. With supernatural beings like I have never dreamed of, Aaron showed her imagination to the fullest and wowed me with the detail of these mythological beings. The heat between the two main characters is off the charts and will leave you smoldering. Blood Prince is worth 5-stars and even though it does not end in a cliffhanger there is the promise of a next book called Incubus involving two of the characters mentioned in the Blood Prince.
Helen of Troy, Paris and Melenaus can’t seem to get away from each other even in death. Thousands of years have passed and Paris nor Melenaus have stopped looking for Helen. Positive that they have both found her on earth it is a race to see who can get to her first. Helen doesn’t remember who she is, she only knows that she is Elena, warrior to the goddess Artemis. She learns quickly that the man who bound her is the enemy and that the man she knows as Paris is someone she must learn to trust. Paris says he knows her, he’s a vampire and the other man Melenaus is a demon. They are both familiar to Elena but only Paris feels safe, Melenaus exudes evil from every pore in his body. Now Elena must find a way to rid herself of Melenaus and keep her warrior sisters and all the other civilizations he’s willing to chase her across from his grip. With Paris having sworn to protect her, Elena will not let Melenaus take her again, she will not go down without a fight.
