Welcome to Summerville…
Arissa Haywood, editor of the popular Southern Charm magazine, is looking to get out of the rat race of Charleston so moves to the quirky town of Summerville. When a move-in disaster brings the sexy sheriff Hank Weathers to her door, she knows she’s made the right move.
Hank Weathers can’t deny the attraction to the beauty who just moved into his quiet town, but he’s been there before…a city girl trying to live in the country. He’s not going down that road again, but the attraction is too hard for them to ignore.
They jump feet first into a whirlwind romance. As the intensity of their relationship grows, Arissa begins to find discrepancies about Hank. Without his knowledge, she starts digging deeper into his past, aided by the Summerville Bells, the rowdy and provocative southern ladies who know everything about everyone in town.
When Arissa uncovers a shocking skeleton in the Weathers’ closet, she quickly learns that some secrets are best left hidden.

Southern Belles, dirty old men, escape-artist cats, and love-sick chickens? Welcome to the South. Secrets by L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne was a splendid story that takes place in Summerville, South Carolina. If you have never been to a small southern town then reading this will give a glimpse of what it’s kind of like. I grew up in the south and totally understood the gossip and small-town mentality. I laughed at the antics of the town folk the and the all-day day-drinking and just loved the whole story. The southern heat has nothing on Hank and Arissa and the love they find. 5-stars for Secrets by L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne
Arissa Haywood wanted out of the city and Summerville seemed like the perfect place to settle. Arissa just didn’t know what brand of crazy that Summerville had to offer. First day in town and Arissa gets to meet the town sheriff Hank Weathers and the sparks are flying which is dangerous since there is water on the floor. Slow and steady might win the race but hot and heavy is the attraction between Arissa and Hank and they can’t slow things down if they tried. Little snippets of information keep finding their way to Arissa, information that leads her to believe that Hank has a secret. Arissa knows that secrets have a way of coming out eventually and when she finds out Hank’s she just hopes that it isn’t one that will tear them apart.
