He’s one of a pair. Identical twin to Damon. And an enforcer for the Inferno if one is ever needed.
I knew better than to get involved with him. With his aggression. With the constant fights. With the games the twins were known to play with every woman stupid enough to fall for them.
We made a mistake when we met again as adults. I fell in love. He fell in love. His brother fell in love, too.
What used to be a good time is now a tragedy.
Our story is messy. It’s cruel. It’s forbidden.
Despite all that, Ezra refuses to let go.
*** Each novel in the series depicts a unique romance, but the plots through each book connect in one world. For the best experience, read the series in order. Nine Dangerous Men. Nine Unrepentant Sinners. Nine Irresistible Manipulators.
Have you ever read a book that is so hot you feel like you’re on fire? If so, you just might be reading one of the books in the Inferno series. Violence by Lily White is the third book in the series but is the seventh circle of the Inferno. All members of the circle are in the story because you can’t have one without the others. This is not a standalone read but I can promise you that you will NOT be disappointed by the first two books, they are just as incredible. I’m usually not a big fan of love triangles but I couldn’t put this one down. I loved the passion and temper of the three players that just made their situation more plausible. As the story continues we learn a little more of the back story that is behind it all and with each book I find the answers to questions that I have been dying to know, and these answers are entertaining and some are just shocking. The sixth circle is coming in August and I’m sure Heresy will be just as captivating. 5 more stars for Lily White and her antihero novel Violence.
Emily Donahue has been promised to Mason Strom since the day they were born. The problem is they hate each other. In high school two members of the Inferno circle taught Emily what it was like to really live her life before getting married. The Cross twins, Ezra, and Damon are big and scary and not afraid to put someone in their place. It’s been ten years since the awful night that Emily walked away from Ezra and Damon and they show up at her engagement party and start to tear down her walls that she carefully built to protect herself. What was only supposed to be “this one-time” reignites a fire so hot and combustible that Ezra, Damon, and Emily have a hard time walking away. Emily hates Ezra and Damon’s fighting, but sometimes Violence is the only way to make someone see the truth.
