Just as Thunder starts thinking about dates and promises, the CDMC roars back into his life. They’re responsible for his beloved club brother’s death, and he wants nothing more than to make them suffer.

When the threats start coming, and Makenna finds herself caught in the crossfire, Thunder will discover exactly the kind of man he is, and how far he’s willing to go to keep Makenna and her siblings in his life.

I have a love hate relationship for this book. Love because it was just awesome. Hate because it was the last in The Hell’s Handlers series (insert crying face here).  This final instalment follows Thunder, the newly patched brother of our favourite MC who is also a dancer (move over Magic Mike!), and Makenna, the new waitress at Toni’s diner who had 5 younger siblings to take care of. Two people who have come from extremely hard backgrounds decide to take a chance on each other even though they’ve never had a healthy relationship. Their story is full  of everything you’ve come to expect from Lilly Atlas’s books. It has love, humour, just the right amount of drama and hot chemistry between the two main characters. And it was a great ending to a great series. 

 

Lilly Atlas is a contemporary romance author, proud Navy wife, and mother of two spunky girls. By day she works as a physical therapist for a hospital in Virginia. Lilly is an avid romance reader, and expects her Kindle to beg for mercy every time she downloads a new eBook. Thankfully, it hasn’t happened yet, and she can often be found absorbed in a good book.
