Charlie Walker had one thing in mind; graduate high school and join the Army. With his years of service behind him, his eyes are opened to a new world were all are excepted, the world of BDSM. Candy Cox had everything in her world ripped away from her. In trying to crawl back to the land of the living she looked for a distraction and instead was pulled into something even darker than her grief. Candy doesn’t see the obstacles in the way, she only sees the man in front of her. Holy Hell what an emotional ride! There is drama and action and emotional turmoil with every page. Red Phoenix is an incredible writer that told the life stories of both the main characters, even though they happened at different time frames, and then brought them together and she did it extremely well. Safe Haven does leave off on a cliffhanger, but I am sure Destined to Dominate will be worth the wait.
