Sage She is my best friend’s daughter. I have no right to be looking at her the way I do, but with her snotty attitude I find myself wanting to put her bratty ass into its place. Under me.
Brook
I have had a stupid school girl crush on him since I was fifteen years old. Now he is dragging me back to the one person I am not ready to face. My father.

Brooke ran hard and far from South Dakota, her father and the motorcycle club that he was a member of.  She has spent the last five years making it on her own. The last thing she expects as she leaves work is to find her father’s best friend (and the man she has always had a crush on) waiting for her to take her home.  After Sage tells Brooke that her father has been shot and might not survive, Brooke has no choice but to go back with him.   Thrust back into the MC life, Brooke must once again face the man she was secretly in love with and the hard life of the club.  Sage knows that Brooke is off limits, but the gorgeous girl is now a woman and he can’t deny the chemistry between the two of them.  With the club still under attack Sage and Brooke continue to be thrown together time and time again and even if they make it out alive they might not make it out with their hearts still intact.

I’m usually not a huge fan of MC stories, but Sage’s Surrender is by far one of the best MC books that I have read.  I loved that the story line was more about the couple than the inner workings of the club but still told a story involving the MC.  Joy Blood did an excellent job of keeping the story moving along and it was never dull or repeating in any way. The forbidden love is not a new concept, but the way Blood writes it was refreshing.   I truly enjoyed reading this book and couldn’t put it down.  I had it finished in one day! YES! That is how great this book and the characters are! There was no cliffhanger, and at the end there is a bonus that leads into the next book which sounds wonderful.  I give Sage’s Surrender 5 stars.
